As Black Veil Brides singer Andy Biersack explained in a recent Short-But-Sweet Interview for UGO, the group has finished work on their second release overall. Titled Set the World on Fire, the album will be released on June 14th via Lava Music/Universal Republic Records, while its first single, "Fallen Angels," will be released via iTunes on May 3rd.
Additionally, the group just won an award at the Revolver Golden Gods, for "Best New Artist." In a press release, Biersack had the following to say about taking home the trophy. "It is a huge honor for us to win the Best New Artist award. Thanks to Revolver for nominating us, anyone who has ever believed in us and most importantly the BVB Army who voted for us. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today." Set the World on Fire will be a follow up to 2010's We Stitch These Wounds, which peaked at #36 on the Billboard Album Charts. The group is currently on tour as a headliner of the ATP Tour 2011, and will be playing festival dates this summer (including the Warped Tour). Tour dates can be viewed here.
