Black Veil Brides..Best Band in The World

When I first knew BVB, they were only "young kids".
It was when they were just Sandra and Chris Hollywood...with only 2 albums (Sex & Hollywood and We Stitch These Wounds) and a single CD. They are the most perfect CD I own.
I haven't known the band for many years, just a few months, but it's time enough to say that they are THE BEST BAND i have ever heard.
What I feel for these boys, Andy,Ashley,Jake, Jinxx and CC is lots of love, it became a passion!

BVB are growing more and more, each time, making appearances on magazines, being nominated to win awards and they worked on the songs for the film SCREAM 4 too.
The NEW ALBUM, "Set the World on Fire" will surprise and amaze everyone, with their best songs.
I hear some of it...........it's amazing how Andy's voice has changed, from a few months back, to now, singing "Knives and Pens".........he sounds so grown up, with a proper man's voice.

Some people that will read my blog could take me as a "poser" or even "a bit silly" but i identify myself with Andy and love him for all that he is.
I am fascinated by his personal story, all he went through in his life, his achievements and conquers, the good and bad things, and mainly his wonderful parents, Amy and Brock, that always believed in him and his band and gave their total support and love that Andy deserved.

I can't really say about the other members of BVB because I do not know their stories as I know Andy's.

Andy said that before he put SIX after Andy to escape from people and facts from his past but now, with so many good things happening, he's decided to show the world who he really is and now signs his real name: ANDY BIERSACK, this good hearted, wonderful, good character that he has always been.

I wish he could one day, maybe, read my blog.......
A girl can dream....

Andy, if one day you ever get to read it.......make sure you know that no mater if it's Andy Six or not......for me you'll always be my
ANDREW DENNIS BIERSACK.

Biersack

As many of you know, I started Black Veil Brides when I was pretty young. I was at a point in my life where, like a lot of teenagers, I felt a certain sense of longing. I just knew that I wanted to do something more than what my life, my school, or even my town, at that time, could offer me. I wanted to be a rock star. I didn’t have a clue, at that time, what the title or the job, itself, truly required. I did know, however, that I wanted it more than anything I had ever wanted in my life. I also knew that, aside from comic book heroes, the only real life heroes I had were musicians.

I spent countless hours at home, alone in my room, listening to my Dad’s classic punk albums from bands like The Damned, Dead Boys, and Generation X. I covered my walls with posters of all kinds of bands whose image I loved ranging from Motley Crue to the Misfits and began to try to re-create their stage makeup. I’d take plastic WWF wrestling rings and turn them into elaborate rock band stage designs. I even started to make my own stage "costumes." I’d ask my Dad to record me singing along with my favorite Social Distortion or Tiger Army songs so I could watch and listen the tapes and learn how to be a front man like my heroes. In my mind there was only one thing that I KNEW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I was born to do. PERFORM.

When I got the chance, I wanted to create a band that could be a calling card for every kid who who felt like I did. A band for the outcasts who dreamt of escaping the sadness or loneliness that they felt in their life. I wanted to rebel against all the hatred and anger that I felt from those who judged me for how I looked, instead of who I was. I wanted to create a community, via my music, that would provide those kids with the sense of belonging that I lacked.

At the time I formed BVB, I felt that to properly provide an escape from life’s day to day drudgeries and create something that kids could look to as a source of strength, I would need to create a character. I felt it needed to be something that could not only inspire but also something that as a young kid, myself, I could hide behind…like an iron shield to deflect the outside world and all the horrible things people would say and do. Something that would stand out and be larger than life.
For me that character was "Andy Six"

Andy Six could be all of the things that I wanted so badly to be as a teen. He was tough and confident. He stood up for those who needed help. He was the person I knew I wanted to become. I hoped that, over time, I would learn to be as confident in Andy Biersack as I was in Andy Six.

Move ahead to 2011, and here I am sitting in my tour bus on the road, 20 years old and the lead singer of Black Veil Brides. I am touring the world and meeting so many amazing friends and fans along the way. Our band has an entire army of people who believe in the same things that we do and who have all found strength in themselves as I have in my own life.

Andy Six is no longer the "strong one." Because of you, Andy Biersack passed him by long ago. Because of you, I have had the chance to experience things that I could have only dreamt of as a child growing up in Southern Ohio. I have talked with thousands of you and we have shared our stories. They are often quite similar. I’ve sung my lungs out with you at shows from Los Angeles to Tokyo and I have tried to share my heart with you in every lyric that I write. I have seen such an incredible devotion from you and, because of that, I think that "Andy Six" is no longer needed to shield myself. Because of my best friends in the entire world (my band mates) and our fans, there is no longer anything to shield myself from. BLACK VEIL BRIDES is now the shield for so many of you that I feel it is time that I let go of my childhood moniker and move on as a happy, thankful and strong member of our BVB Army.

I am Andy Biersack. Andy "6" is no more than a nickname, now. Something that will always remind me of where I came from and how this whole thing started.

So, here we are in the final stages of post production on our first major label record. We are currently on the AP tour and life could not be more exciting for us and you can count on the fact that I will not rest until this band and our loyal and dedicated fans take over the world. You, my friends, inspire me and give me the confidence to say that. I know that, together, this group of outcasts and misfits can do something nobody else thought we could. Make things better for a lot of people.
I encourage all of you to find strength within yourself, no matter what. Be proud of who you are and never let anyone or anything take that away from you. Inner Strength is something that we are all born with. However, I’ve learned that it requires patience and perseverance to fully achieve it. I promise you, though, that as long as you know in your heart who you are and what you want from this world, nothing is gonna stop you.
Finally, please remember this. If you EVER need something that you can stand behind, something to help you to take on and deflect all of the hatred of this often cruel world, you will ALWAYS have Black Veil Brides.
Forever.
Andy

Andy ''SIX'' To Andy ''BIERSACK''

Andy Six, the singer of Black Veil Brides says he decided to go back to using his real name "Biersack".
Andy said: "Not that I'm trying to eliminate my name (Andy Six), I do not care what people call me so this was always my nickname. The name has always been a defense mechanism for me when I was a child, but I no longer have to hide it. I am very happy with who I am and what I created."

Black Veil Brides' 'Set the World on Fire' to Appear in 'Scream 4'

Black Veil Brides vocalist Andy Biersack has a message for the Black Veil Brides Army: thank you! Thanks to the band's fans, the song 'Set the World on Fire' will be featured in the upcoming film 'Scream 4.' The song is the title track from Black Veil Brides' new album, due out June 14th.

The powers-that-be behind the film posted a message on Facebook looking for music for the movie, and BVB fans answered the call en masse. A grassroots Facebook campaign effectively put the band on the radar of 'Scream 4' director Wes Craven.

"It was 100 percent fan-driven," Biersack recently told Noisecreep about his band's inclusion in one of the most successful horror film franchises in history. "We really appreciate it. It shows again that this group of outcasts that call themselves the 'BVBArmy' can be heard. We want to make sure they get the credit they deserve! If they are passionate about a band or about rock 'n' roll, kids can get together and do anything, if they truly believe in and set their minds to it. Our fans really want this band to succeed."

Biersack, an admitted fan of comic books and the horror genre, said that the process of getting the song approved was relatively easy. "Usually these things take forever," he said. "You have to deal with the music supervisor, sign agreements, etc. But this could not have been easier or quicker."

Black Veil Brides are currently on tour with D.R.U.G.S. and VersaEmerge.

Black Veil Brides Safe in Japan

News of an 8.9 earthquake followed by a 30-foot-high tsunami in Japan today had fans of the Black Veil Brides all over the world scrambling to find out if the band members, currently touring Tokyo, were safe. The band’s manager did get an e-mail through to families of band members that they were all together in the venue where they were meant to play today when the earthquake hit.
The band’s lead vocalist, Andy Six, is originally from the west side Cincinnati suburb of Delhi, and he was also able to post a short Facebook update to let friends and fans know that the earthquake was "the most terrifying experience of my life," but that they were all well. Six was able to contact family members to tell them they had made it back to their hotel, though they are unsure of what they will do next because transportation systems are closed throughout the country.
The Black Veil Brides had been scheduled to play Astro Hall in the Harajuku district of Tokyo tonight, with a final show on Saturday, March 12, at the Liquid Room in the Ebisu district. Band members were in the middle of a sound check at Astro Hall when the earthquake hit. They were evacuated from the building, but their manager reported that there was not much structural damage in the part of the city they are in.
Trains are not running and airports were closed because of the risk of aftershocks, although there are reports that some flights are leaving Narita Airport now. The Black Veil Brides and their tour manager are currently working on making arrangements to return home to Los Angeles, where there are also tsunami warnings posted today.
Everbody hopes you can return safely home.
